This is a great autumn winter route that weaves around Rusthall and Tunbridge Wells common land.
Starting at the cricket ground we will warm up with the ancient sandstone Wellington rocks as a back drop, before heading up the hill and away from the cricket ground.
A lovely way to start your weekend. The route is mostly tarmac but there are a few parts that are dirt tracks so there maybe mud in places after wet conditions. We’ll do this at good pace, hoping to achieve a consistent gear 2, with opportunity to increase to 3 on the down hills if you can maintain good technique.
We’ll loop our way up gentle but steady hills into the out skirts of Rusthall, past the infamous Toad rock, and onward through wood land, onto a wide private road that leads us back to TW common, where we’ll continue our loop making another climb back up past the ancient sandstone Wellington rocks and returning to the meeting point where we’ll finish and stretch.
Please note: A minimum 3 attendees must be booked on for the walk to proceed. I will notify you by about lunchtime if it's looking unlikey to run.
A minimum of 12 hours notice is required should you wish to cancel your booking.
