Walk Description:

We head off from the Bushy Willows car park walking a wide forest ride with far reaching views facing south west across the Forest, before entering Old Lodge Nature Reserve.

We pass by a small clump of magnificent ancient beech trees and make our way down the valley over the stream and up over the other side taking in the breath taking views. We will be mainly walking amongst the pines on wide tracks. We will cross the road and walk upto Greenwood  Gate Clump before heading back to Bushy Willows car park.

We will have the opportunity to get the pace going to start with before we head for the hills.  It will be predominantly Gear 2 with opportunities for gear 3 if you want more challenge.  This is suitable for people who have experience of hill walking.

Please bring a drink of water with you, preferably in a bottle in a hip bag or back pack so you can still swing your arms without being restricted.

A minimum of 12 hours notice is required should you wish to cancel your booking.
