Walk Description:
Today we are taking part in the Savernake 10k Fun Run but nordic walking it.
Most of us should be capable of completing this challenge in under 2 hours.
The race starts and ends at St Katherines school and is raising money for the school.
The race takes places on a marked trail through the paths and tracks in Savernake Forest. There are some small undulations but it's doable for most of the walkers in this group.
If you would like to do some training to improve your faster technique come to our 8:30am walks on Mondays and Thursdays.
Venue: St Katherines School & Savernake Forest
Time: Walkers start at 9am so meet at 8:30am for preparation and warm up.
Parking: Field next to school but share lifts to reduce number of cars.
Notes: wear purple NWUK or WALX t-shirts.
