Duration – 1 ½ hours, walk grade - 3. Not everyone walks at the same pace! The Regular Walk is a social way to get fit and stay fit. It`s aimed at moderate paced walkers and above. After a warm up we will set off together and those that wish to walk fast can go ahead and at certain points we will gather together. This is a lovely walk as the scenery is constantly changing. You spend time in the magnificent woodland area.
You are then treated to wonderful views in the open spaces and then enjoy the village of East Dean.
The route will vary depending on conditions. It can be a circular or there are various options for out and back.
The route does include some steep hills, which makes it unsuitable for beginners. Once we are on the higher ground it is relatively flat.
This is a great walk, we have allowed 2 hours to ensure we have time to enjoy our time being outside and taking in the surroundings without rushing.
East Dean is 4 minutes away be car. Coffee at the star and Garter.
