Walk Description:

A linear route starting from Edale via the early train from Hathersage. Train times will be sent out as we get nearer the date, for now, we will still aim for the 08.30 start.

A delightful route heading east to Hope Cross and picking up the ancient Roman Road towards Win Hill and down to the Yorkshire Bridge to cross to damn. We could call in for refreshments here if time allows. We ascend again above Bamford to the Romano village, ruins from almost 2,00 years ago. Covering the grounds of some of the inspired Bronte country and back down to Hathersage. There are lots of pubs and cafes to have refreshments in Hathersage at the end if you wish.
