Walk Description:

A walk around the Arne RSPB Nature Reserve Featuring the New Lagoon Trail and exploring the beaches, heath and woodland paths. The Lagoon Trail is 3 miles there and back but we can walk another mile or two to roam Arne further.

Entry is free to RSPB members (please bring along your membership card) or you can pay an entry fee of £5 per person for the day. This goes towards helping protect the reserve and its inhabitants as well as conservation work through out the area.  

The layout to the reserve has recently changed and there is plenty to explore.

An attractive mixed terrain walk along quiet country lanes, by the River Onny, and along a disused railway line.

 Nordic Walx are simply sociable Nordic walks in a mixed ability group, enjoying beautiful locations in and around South Shropshire and beyond. Most routes are circular and will try to make the most of the beautiful surroundings.

We are adhering to Covid-19 social protocols. Please use your own poles and bring your own water.

Higher Impact Fitness Stamina and endurance

Want to take your fitness and strength to the next level? This is the one for you!! This instructor led session will improve your muscular strength, resistance, endurance.

It is a full body intense  workout. Exercises are differentiated to suit your level of fitness.

Bands are used for resistance work and smoveys will improve your cardio.     

Hill drills and interval training will be embedded into the session when we are  at Newbold Comyn or Burton Dassett.

This is a moderate demanding instructor lead session

This is one of our favourite local walks from the picturesque village of Stoughton. We’ll explore the beautiful countryside and ancient woodland of Kingley Vale, one of the finest National Nature Reserves in southern England, famous for its remarkable yew trees and panoramic views across the South Downs.

Enjoy sociable Nordic Walking for Freedom Passport holders in a variety of locations with a mixed ability group. 

Lead by accredited instructors or leaders, these walks make the most of our beautiful countryside and are a relaxing way to enjoy being active outdoors, at the same time as improving your fitness and wellbeing.

We'll walk for at least an hour, longer if your time allows.

Poles provided. Wear outdoor activity footwear and clothes suitable for the weather.

Description of the Walk: From the car park the WALX Guide will lead you through the park, around the lake and into the beautifully cared for English Garden. Approximately 1.5-2.0 miles. There is a footpath that is suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs, and mobility scooters.
