Walk Description:

Join us for the Thursday evening walk, a mixed-ability session that typically covers 3 miles in an hour. Designed with a gentle to moderate pace, this walk provides an opportunity for all members to connect and enjoy a consistent exercise routine. Our leaders actively support those who may need a slightly gentler speed while simultaneously offering ways for faster walkers to be challenged. If you are looking to increase your distance or pace, we encourage you to use the "looping-back method"—please feel free to ask the Leader for instructions on how this works. Walk time of 1 hour.

Walkers are requested to arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the start time to allow for parking, shoe change, pole adjustment etc, so that the walk can start promptly at the time indicated.

Please ensure your PARQ is up to date and notify us if you have any change to your physical or mental wellbeing. This should include any surgery, injuries or accidents.
