A Gentle and safe way to walk yourself fitter! These walks use poles to improve general fitness and increase joint mobility (Pace approx 2 miles p/hr)

A moderately paced Nordic Walk for you to enjoy in a social atmosphere, the WALX Guide will lead you through a warm up, follow the aerobic curve during the walk to enable you to improve your fitness levels, finish with a cool down and a stretch.
To book this walk you must complete the Power of Poles training, Wellness WALX are available throughout the week, these do not require the training if you want to come along and have a try.

A rucksack is more suitable for your valuables, please wear suitable footwear for the grassed areas and be prepared for the British weather!

Want to take your fitness and strength to the next level? This is the one for you!! This instructor led session will improve your muscular strength, resistance, endurance. It is a full body intense workout. Exercises are differentiated to suit your level of fitness. Bands are used for resistance work and smoveys will improve your cardio. Hill drills and interval training will be embedded into the session when we are at Newbold Comyn or Burton Dassett. This is a moderate demanding instructor lead session

Evening walk after a day at home or in the office.
This session is an hours brisk walk to help to switch off at the end of the day. It is a brisk one hour walk, with few stops. It will be at a steady consistent pace so ideal for building your cardio fitness!! It is a social walk so you will have the distraction of chatting whilst exercising.
During the winter months head torches are essential so YOU can be seen as the route tends to be off the Comyn.
During the lighter evenings there is more opportunity to take this session over fields and farmland.
