This walk truly is a FAB Thursday boost - approx an hour at moderate Gear 2 pace with Gear 3 options. Our walk will take us out FROM Eaton and across into the UEA with plenty of choices right from the start. These walks differ each week; from saying hello to the donkeys above the Yare Valley Marshes and circumnavigating the Broad to following routes along the Yare and visiting the often-missed Earlham Hall.  There’s so much to see on wide grassy paths.  No wonder we LOVE it here.

Enjoy the views, fresh air and company of the group while also being active outdoors.  These walks alter each week but will be approx 3 miles.

Come and join us on a social walk on a circular route of around 5km within the Historic Estate of Lyme Park.

Nestling on the edge of the Peak District, Lyme was once home to the Legh family, and in its heyday a great sporting estate. 

The estate is 1400 acres, so offers lots of different walks with stunning views, and we may see some of their famous deer herd too.

Optional coffee and cake afterwards in The Timberyard Cafe.

Come, spend a couple of hours on a Saturday morning exploring interesting circular walks, up hill and down dale, in the Chilterns and South Bucks areas. With a wide variety of venues and terrain to chose from you are sure to discover a few favourites. The walk will change each week, and where practical will finish somewhere with refreshments and facilities.

Enjoy sociable Nordic Walking with your fellow experienced  Freedom Passport holders in a variety of locations with a mixed ability group.

This is a lovely 7.5 mile walk from the Secret Gardens to Woolsbarrow and back.

Who doesn't love the story "The Secret Garden?"  So, what an opportunity to enjoy Carey's secret garden rediscovered in 2017.  Behind a 150-year-old wall lies a wonderfully reclaimed south facing garden full of trees and wonderful plants. A great area of education with new or should I say, rediscovered ways of growing, for wildlife, conservation of moisture and a stumpery. The secret Salt Pig offers coffee, tea, cakes and wraps all delicious, to enjoy in the garden sheltered by the vast warm wall.    The walk starts from the carpark and joins St Edward's pilgrim trail into Wareham Forest. Initially the path is though woods and country paths eventually opening out to the heathland towards Woolsbarrow. We turn up to Woolsbarrow, there is a short climb to the top where you are rewarded by wonderful views. Here we stop for a drink and a snack before returning via a part of the Sika trail back to the garden . 

There is a discounted charge of £5 for parking and includes entry to the gardens and use of facilities.

Gentle WALX that incorporate balance work, flexibility and strength exercises. 

We will take a gentle walk around the park.

We will stop for rests and to do simple exercises to help with strength, balance and flexibility, together with breathing exercises

Great for those who are getting back into exercise, have a health condition or simply want to move well and be fit for life! Our wellbeing Instructors are qualified to deliver WALX for all levels so it’s never too late to take that first step.
