West Dean Short and Shady
Parking down by the stream we will walk along the lane towards West Dean Church before heading northwards up past the Scout Camp, spotting Andy Goldsworthy chalk balls on the way.
A shady walk keeping to the woods, after some initial climbing, we will join more familiar paths on our downward return via Warren Hanger.
Just an hour’s actual walking with total elevation gain of 138 m. If you would like to try a bit of hill walking, do come and join us.
