CORN MOON

 HEADTORCH ESSENTIAL

Suitable for all levels of walkers, with or without NW training.

A mindful walk to embrace all that is nature.

THE CORN MOON The Corn Moon is the full moon that occurs in September, traditionally named for the time when corn is ready to harvest in the northern hemisphere. Timing and Definition

The Corn Moon typically occurs in early September and is closely associated with the Harvest Moon, which is the full moon nearest the autumnal equinox. While the Harvest Moon can sometimes fall in October, the Corn Moon specifically marks the period when corn and other summer crops are fully grown and ready for harvest timeanddate.com+2. In 2026, for example, the September full moon will serve as the Harvest Moon, but in other years, the September full moon is referred to as the Corn Moon

This 2-3 mile cliff top walk will serve as a time to embrace the wonderful sea and calm of the clifftops, whilst taking in the fabulous sunset and moonrise.

Join us for this fabulous moonlight clifftop walk as the moon rises over the sea, and the sun sets over the Dodman.
