A circular 14.5 mile walk starting from Hartington main square. We will walk along Beresford Dale and approach Narrow Dale before heading around Wetton Hill to Wetton and down to Weag's Bridge. From there we will climb to Grindon and continue roughly along the LB route taking in Ecton Hill and part of the Manifold trail. At Sheen we head back to Hartington.
Encountering plenty of stiles, muddy fields, farm tracks, quiet lanes, hills and wonderful views. 650m/ 2100ft of ascent. Expect to be on the move for 6 hours. Arrive at 8.45am for a prompt 9am start.

Walkers are requested to arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the start time to allow for parking, shoe change, pole adjustment etc, so that the walk can start promptly at the time indicated.
