start time 9.30am This is our regular 1 hour walk. We sometimes walk on the Tissington Trail as this is fairly level and even. But we will also incorporate fields and hills in our walks which are 2-3 miles. Gear 1 and sometimes 2 Please bring a (hot) drink for after the walk. Please note, there are no toilet facilities (unless the pub is open early)

Higher Impact Fitness Stamina and endurance
Want to take your fitness and strength to the next level? This is the one for you!! This instructor led session will improve your muscular strength, resistance, endurance.
It is a full body intense workout. Exercises are differentiated to suit your level of fitness.
Bands are used for resistance work and smoveys will improve your cardio.
Hill drills and interval training will be embedded into the session when we are at Newbold Comyn or Burton Dassett.
This is a moderate demanding instructor lead session

Join Sally for a longer walk around The Hartland Way to see it in all its glory. We walk on the old tramway taking in a wide range of habitats and landscapes affording excellent and lesser seen views of Corfe Castle and Hartland Moor. Mainly flat terrain.
There is free off road parking at Middlebere and further spaces alongside the road. No toilets.
The parking area is about a mile past Scotland Farm on the back road between the Norden Park and Ride and Arne. Narrow road with uneven surface. Please use what3 words or look at a map. SatNav does not work well. If you have not been before please contact Sally on 07870563507 for more detailed directions.
Please arrive in good time as the parking can be a bit unpredictable.

Pace: Mainly Gear 2. Distance covered : approx 4- to 5 miles, depending on weather and ground conditions.
Expect some gentle hills, uneven ground and mud after wet weather.
A great walk for intermediate Nordic walkers, these weekly walks take place in the parks, public footpaths and occasionally country lanes around the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Location varies each week.
This is an excellent way to get your cardio exercise in the week.
All Nordic Walks start with a short mobilisation and finish with stretchiing.

Starting beside the Victoria Pub, this route quickly immerses you in woodland.
As you gain height, the trees open to occasional glimpses of the surrounding countryside. Partway through, the path links up with the Compton Walk.
After the initial climb, the terrain becomes gentler, allowing you to enjoy the peace of the woods and the varied birdlife. Expect a total walking time of around 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on pace and breaks.
Tip: Wear sturdy footwear, especially after rain, as the roots and inclines can be slippery.
