This WALX Total Body Walking session is designed to improve your fitness, support weight loss, and boost mental wellbeing, all while enjoying the benefits of walking as part of a friendly, welcoming group. The Walk Experience Starting at The Globe Inn LU7 2TA, located beside the canal, we begin by walking out behind the pub through a peaceful meadow—an ideal place to settle into your stride, connect with others, and enjoy the calming rhythm of wellbeing walking. We join a quiet track heading north towards a cattle grid, where we turn left and continue along open countryside paths. This section allows the group to naturally find its flow—some enjoying conversation, others simply taking in the fresh air and surroundings. As we reach the road and turn right, the route leads us into a wooded area before crossing into the beautiful Rushmere Country Park, following the Greensand Way public footpath. Here, the walk becomes a perfect blend of:  Woodland trails Open meadows Scenic water features This varied terrain gently challenges the body, helping to build strength, stamina, and total body fitness, especially when using Nordic poles. The circular route brings us back to The Globe Inn, completing a walk that leaves you feeling energised, connected, and uplifted.
