This month's midweek walk is inspired by the route of the infamous Dovedale Dash. We'll start at Dovedale car park and walk a loop that will take in Ilam, a section of the Manifold & Limestone ways to Thorpe before descending Lin Dale and crossing the Stepping Stones over the Dove. 4 miles, 145m/ 470ft elevation.

These 2 walks warm up together and then take different routes according to your ability.
Referral WALX
A comfortably paced walk in the Gardens for you to enjoy in a social atmosphere. The qualified Exercise Referral Instructor will lead you through a warm up, a short walk making stops along the way if needed and finish with a stretch. Exercise bands are often used within the walk to rest the legs, improve strength in the upper body and work on posture.
We join all Wednesday walkers after the walk for a cuppa in the park if the weather is dry.
Total Body WALX
A gentle paced walk for 45 minutes with a WALX Guide around the lake, joining all Wednesday walkers for a cuppa in the park if the weather is dry.
You can book this session without the Power of Poles training, join us walking with no poles or borrow a set from us and feel the ‘Power of Poles’.
Power of Poles training is available in Bexley.
Poles are provided.

Join us for our Wednesday morning walk, a moderately-paced session covering 5-6 miles designed specifically to help you improve your endurance and speed. This walk is ideal for individuals who are comfortable maintaining a steady walking pace of 3 to 3.5 miles per hour for the entire duration. If you are looking for a consistent challenge to boost your fitness level within a supportive group environment, this walk is perfectly suited to your goals.
Walk time of 2 -2.5 hours.
Walkers are requested to arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the start time to allow for parking, shoe change, pole adjustment etc, so that the walk can start promptly at the time indicated.
Please ensure your PARQ is up to date and notify us if you have any change to your physical or mental wellbeing. This should include any surgery, injuries or accidents.
