Join us for our Wednesday morning walk, a moderately-paced session covering 5-6 miles designed specifically to help you improve your endurance and speed. This walk is ideal for individuals who are comfortable maintaining a steady walking pace of 3 to 3.5 miles per hour for the entire duration. If you are looking for a consistent challenge to boost your fitness level within a supportive group environment, this walk is perfectly suited to your goals.
Walk time of 2 -2.5 hours.
Walkers are requested to arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the start time to allow for parking, shoe change, pole adjustment etc, so that the walk can start promptly at the time indicated.
Please ensure your PARQ is up to date and notify us if you have any change to your physical or mental wellbeing. This should include any surgery, injuries or accidents.

The wellbeing walk is suitable for those who have completed the Power of Poles Introductory course/Learn to Nordic walk course and/or haven`t attended a class for a while.
This walk is also suitable for anyone coming back from an injury/illness or has medical conditions that prevent them from walking at a faster pace.
By regularly attending, you will be able to focus on increasing the intensity of your walking as fitness levels improve.

Wellness WALX
This walk takes you through the parks and gardens of Leamington. We walk on the hard surfaces with plenty of opportunity to stop and take a seated break on the benches. It is a social walk with the main focus on having a chat with fellow walkers. .
This walk is through Jephson Gardens, Mill Gardens and/or the Pump Room Gardens and /or Victoria Park. It is ideal if you need a walk to build your confidence at a gentle pace.
You will have plenty of opportunity to look at the stunning display of plants and trees in the Gardens and if necessary take a breather on a bench in the tranquillity in these unique gardens in memory of Dr Jephson .
