Meeting at Seven Sisters Country Park before heading out into the woodlands to walk to Birling Gap.

Here we can have a comfort stop & lunch before heading our the cliffs returning to the country Park.

Heading west from Darley Head, this walk goes via, or near to: Folly Gill Bridge, Pike Crag Wood,  Saint Saviour’s Church in Thornthwaite, an old packhorse bridge over Padside Beck, Carr Lodge Farm, and Oxen Close. A very pleasant walk (with several stiles to add interest!) with stunning views of Nidderdale along the way. At just under 4 miles, the walk takes around an hour and fifty minutes.

The only criteria being, you must be able to hold a good comfortable pace for an hour. If you`re not sure if this class is suitable for you, then please get in touch.

The faster walkers will be expected to complete `extra loops`and/or walk back to the group in order to keep everyone together.
