Your qualified instructor will add motivating drills and exercises into a steady/fast paced fun walk dependant on individual abilities. Lead by an accredited instructors these walks make the most of our beautiful county and are a relaxing way to enjoy being active outdoors. A great walk for intermediate Nordic walkers, these weekly walks take place in the parks and public footpaths around Harrow, Stanmore and Ruislip.
An excellent way to start the week is with a Nordic Walx on a Monday or Wednesday in and around Stanmore and Harrow Weald. Get ready for the weekend with a stimulating Saturday morning walx around Stanmore Country Park. Or join us on a Sunday morning for a longer, faster paced walk in Ruislip Woods.

I need a minimum of 3 people for a walk. Please cancel by 6pm the day before a walk. If you need to cancel after this time or on the day of the walk, I would ask that you just let me know that you cannot attend and the walk will remain chargeable. If a walk is to be cancelled due to insufficient numbers, I will let you know by 8pm the evening before.
MODERATE Walks - walks might involve hills and we walk at a pace of around 3 - 3.5 miles per hour. The walks are usually around 90 mins.

From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.
On Fridays we like to start and end our walk (or drive a short way) at a local cafe. The walks are around 4-5 miles and take around 2 hours.

This is a short walk along footpaths and country lanes. There are a couple of different options according to the ground conditions. Either a circular route around Appleshaw Woods or a shorter route along country lanes and farm tracks.
Suitable for Gear 1 walkers, but everyone is welcome if you would like coffee, cake and a chat. There is an additional cost of £5 for the coffee and cake.
Gear 1 - A nice, easy and natural pace that you can do for extended periods with recovery periods where appropriate. Short hills might be introduced.
