Walk Description:

With qualified Instructors guidance, they will help you to learn how to walk well and gain more out of your walking. We also look at how to be mindful within your surroundings and practice a breathing exercise.

As we look at the Total Body, you will have a chance to join in some light exercises and WALX yoga with poles (no floor work in the mud, you will be please to hear) or some general balance work.

There is something for everyone as we cater for all levels of fitness, from functional needs to marathons.

We meet at the far end of the Horseshoe Clump car park.

This walk takes us round the back of NOrwich Airport, out by the NDR and then on a magical mystery tour either through Spixworth Woods and meadows or out towards Horsham St Faiths. Flat so perfect to `chase your pace` and burn some calories...

This walk is the perfect way to work on your fitness from an interesting setting - the end of Norwich Airport`s runway!!!! Come and enjoy walking in the locality of Norwich, take in the views, fresh air and company of the group, whilst being active outdoors.

Join us for a 5 mile walk along the Lancaster canal at Garstang where we will walk over the aqueduct built by John Rennie to span the river Wyre.

We will continue to walk up the canal past the remains of Greenhalgh castle.

Come off the canal where we will head towards the old track bed of the Garstang to Knot End railway.

And then walk along the Wyre back to the car.

Walk Description:

We have until 8pm to order food in The Talbot Inn. We can sit outside or inside the Talbot Inn. 

Evening Adventure walk, part of the Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival

Meet at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start at The Bridge House, Station Road, AltonSTOKE-ON-TRENT, ST10 4BX

Distance: 2.5 miles, 1 hour 

The walk: Footpaths, farm tracks and quiet lanes without pavement. Some areas prone to mud and uneven walking.

Please arrive at 6pm if you would like more information about Nordic Walking and to try out Nordic Walking poles. Please let me know when you're coming at 6pm. Thanks.

A walk that will help you understand just how beneficial Nordic Walking can be and how it is far more than just walking with poles! Poles provided, there is a choice of strapless or strapped Nordic Walking poles. 

An evening walk is the perfect way to end a busy working day, as it is an outdoors workout, which provides an opportunity to improve health and fitness. It allows you to work your muscles that you do not use much during the day. This can help in relieving stiffness and lower back pain and in relaxing your body and mind.

All this makes you sleep better as you will feel relaxed and free of any stress or tension.

Don't forget to wear suitable shoes and clothing for all weathers and bring a drink/snack.  

Booking essential:  You need to set up an online account and fill in a health questionnaire.

Cancellation Policy: Please cancel 2 hours before the scheduled start time for a session credit to be applied. Cancellations inside of 2 hours will be charged in full.

Walk Description:

This is a free WALX taster session designed to introduce the different activities WALX with Kerley has on offer.  Discover that a Total Body WALX is more than just  a walk in the park.

There will be a 60 minute session on how to get the best out of your walking technique (how to walk well). and  an optional  20-30 minute discovery walk at the end of the hour session

There will be examples of the types of classes we do ranging from wellness sessions and fitness activities.  There will be an introduction to how to walk with poles which is always an option

.You will have the choice to walk with or without poles on the optional discovery walk. No experience needed, everyone welcome.
