Walk Description:
Join us for a lovely, easy-going walk through the beautiful Slindon Estate, following well-managed paths and tracks with gentle gradients.
Starting near the coffee shop, we’ll head through the ancient woodland of Park Wood, walk along the fascinating Palaeolithic raised beach, and return through the picturesque village of Slindon.
This is a great choice if you prefer a walk without challenging hills or difficult terrain, while still wanting to get outside, keep active and enjoy some beautiful Sussex countryside.
Different walking abilities are very welcome. We have ways of keeping everyone together while giving faster walkers opportunities to stretch their legs and work a little harder, so everyone can enjoy the walk at a level that suits them.
Underfoot conditions are generally good throughout the year, but sturdy walking shoes are always recommended.
And, of course, there’s the opportunity to finish with a well-earned coffee and a chat.
Beautiful countryside, friendly company and a great coffee stop – what more could you want?
