It is a full body intense workout. Exercises are differentiated to suit your level of fitness. Bands are used for resistance work and smoveys will improve your cardio.
This session is suitable for most, as you can work at your own intensity, and there is plenty of opportunity to push yourself out of your comfort zone, should this be what you are looking for!!
Hill drills and interval training will be embedded into the session when we are at Newbold Comyn or Burton Dassett.

Not too fast, not too slow’ This walk is a gentle walk and is ideal if you need to build your confidence as you start your journey with WALX.
If you want a /gentle steady walk over the spectacular Comyn this is the walk for you.
Hills will be avoided as best as possible and the route varies each week.

Duration – 1 ½ hours, walk grade - 3. Not everyone walks at the same pace! The Regular Walk is a social way to get fit and stay fit. It`s aimed at moderate paced walkers and above.  After a warm up we will set off together and those that wish to walk fast can go ahead and at certain points we will gather together. This is achieved by those walking ahead will, at certain points or times, double back to the rear of the group or remaining at a pre-determined rendezvous point and practicing drills or other gentle exercises to keep warm and active.

Lyme Park and Black Rocks - Short Route
Open to all NWUK / Walx Freedom Passport Holders and Keen Walkers too.
This walk will start at the same time as the Lyme Park and Black Rocks Longer Walk and will be self-guided from approx 4.5km
Gears 1-2 and Hill techniques 09:30-11:30
Meeting in The Timberyard at 9:30 we will set off through Elmerhurst Wood before leaving Lyme Park and heading along the reservoirs up towards Bollinhurst Bridge and East Lodge where you will head back to The Timberyard along the lane through the deer sanctuary area of Lyme Park.
Distance 6km Height Gain of 130m
(Our longer walks tend to be at a similar pace to our Regular Adventure Walks but take place over a longer distance and time with potentially wilder terrain, great views and maybe a coffee shop or pub at journeys' end.)
