Power of Poles intro course
Meet at 9.45 for a 10am start at the Barn, Green Farm Thorpe DE6 2AW
Find out how to use fitness walking poles to achieve the results YOU want. This course will help you understand how to select the right kind of poles and use them for health, fitness, fun or challenges.
This course will ensure you get the correct movement and techniques from the start. We provide the poles for tuition sessions. These are strapless during the first part and we change to strapped nordic walking poles in the second half of the course.

After this course you will receive the Freedom Passport to book walks with all NWUK instructors.
A progression to an optional Part 2 of the course gives you the opportunity to explore how to get more out of using Nordic style strapped poles with drills and advanced technique tuition.
Don`t forget to wear suitable shoes and clothing for all weathers and bring a drink and snack.

International Dawn Chorus Day is the morning when the World wakes up to the symphony of bird song around the World. We at WALX Nationally will recognise this day with instructors and fellow walkers coming together to listen to the Dawn chorus in your locality.
