Walk Description:

A gentle Nordic Walk around Wendover with an opportunity to see the wonderful work Lindengate Charity do at their 6 acre garden.

We start our morning with a gentle 3 miles around the Wendover countryside before visiting Lindengate for refreshments and a tour of their 6 acre site.

The secret garden is now a stunning wildlife garden with a Heritage Orchard, Nature Reserve, Kitchen Gardens and 2 RHS Chelsea Gold Award Winning Exhibits based next to Dobbie’s Garden Centre. They work to promote and protect the physical and mental wellbeing of the general public by the provision of nature based activities in horticulture, conservation, heritage skills, arts and craft, woodworking and education.

Supporting the charity with this visit means that more people struggling with their mental health can be supported through times of anxiety, isolation, and loneliness.

A minimum of 15 people are required for this event so it is open to friends and family too.

CANCELLATIONS

You are free to cancel your booking using the booking system up to 1 week before a walk commences.

If you need to cancel your booking within 1 week of the start time of the event, you must contact Tracy Reeve by telephone on 07792 070286. Please do not remove yourself from the attendance list.  

Any refund will be discretionary and will be dependent on you contacting Tracy Reeve (or nominated deputy) in advance.

If you are a Direct Debit member you may be charged the full walk price.

Please ensure your PARQ is up to date and you discuss any changes to your health or medication with your walk leader.  

Please also ensure that you have any medication that you might need with you for the walk.  

We would ask you to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time of the walk so that you can get warmed up safely.

Parking for the Lindengate project is at : Dobbies Aylesbury Aylesbury Road, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP22 6BD W3W ///harmony.studs.extent Parking and access to garden is at far left hand-side of Dobbie’s car park - this is our meeting point for our walk.
