Location Notes:

A tiny gem of a car park located approx a mile from Wiveton on the Langham Rd. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Wiveton+Downs+Car+Park/@52.9385602,1.0213979,15z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x47d76f472fbba4af:0xe41f2eee9f1f5139!8m2!3d52.9385602!4d1.0213979!16s%2Fg%2F11h6kmsqcz?entry=ttu As you drive from Holt into Wiveton you will see the pub "The Wiveton Bell'. It has its own car park situated on the corner of the Langham Rd / Blakeney Road. You will see a small brown picnic sign up the Langham Rd - follow it - and approx a mile up you will see another WIVETON DOWNS LOCAL NATURE RESERVE sign directing you to the left, over a cattle grid and up a very pot-holed lane to the car park. Plenty of room. NO TOILETS (but there are lots of gorse bushes!!!) Glandford, Holt, Norfolk, NR25 7JP This is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) and a local nature reserve of both geological and wildlife interest. The site is elevated above the surrounding countryside giving excellent views over the village of Wiveton and the North Norfolk Coast, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Situated on the south end of the Blakeney Esker, a sand and gravel ridge that is here heathland with heather, gorse and bracken.
