Walk Description:
This flat walk offers superb river views. This is a social walk suitable for those who prefer a slower paced walk
This area, which opened in June 2019 offers a circular walk on flat well prepared shingle paths on the southern bank of the River Stour, with fabulous river, pond and countryside views.
Should the river be flooded, we will walk the Stour Valley Way on a road ( disused) up to Canford School crossing the golf course.
Please meet in the first car park on the right, or the overflow car park opposite (not the new car park which is further along) There is ample free parking. There is a height restriction at the entrance to cars. There are no toilets or other facilities.
It is likely to be popular with local dog walkers.
Location Notes:
Large free parking area at the end of a gated road with a height restriction which used to lead to Canford Magna Golf Course. Gates open between dawn and dusk. Meet in the main car park on the right
