Walk Description:

These WALX make every step count! Total Body walking™ is a unique mix of drills and strength exercises designed to help target your upper body as well as your legs. Delivered by our fully qualified Instructors who plan WALX that work on all aspects of your fitness, we'll help you make the most of being outdoors! Benefits can be gained through use of Nordic Walking poles, but these are not necessary to join this activity. If you would like to use poles, please earn your Freedom Passport, by signing up for our Power of Poles technique course.

Meet: Everards Meadows Car Park (off Soar Valley Way or B4114 Narborough Road South). Free Parking for up to 3 hours. Number plate recognition on entry.

Pace: Steady, to suit the group, but we will challenge each individual to push themselves to make health and fitness gains. This activity is suitable for both pole and non-pole walkers.

Terrain: This is a mixed terrain venue with paths of various different composition as well as undefined walkways across meadows. At this time of year, the grass can be wet and the paths can get muddy. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions and sturdy boots or shoes. Wellies are not recommended.

Elevation: Negligible inclines.

Refreshments and toilets are available at Jenno's Coffee House. Please remember your mask if entering the Coffee House and adhere to their requirement for NHS Track and Trace.
