Walk Description:

The walk starts at the Totternhoe Knolls Picnic Area Car Park. You will be walking through the Bedfordshire countryside, taking in views of the Totternhoe Knolls and the Dunstable Downs. You will be walking in open fields, tracks and bridleways, and a small section of road. We will pass the site of a Norman castle, and the site of a Neolithic/Iron Age Hill Fort which may have originated earlier than 4000BC. The walk is suitable for moderate to Adventure walkers, this is a scenic walk to be enjoyed by all. This walk can also be extended to take in the Sewell Cut making this walk a 10K Strenuous walk.

Location Notes:

Look out for the Picnic Area sign on the road as the entrance is quite concealed.
