Walk Description:

A session with Sally looking at Walking Well with a benefit for everyone. Walking drills with particular focus on posture, core strength, co-ordination, flexibility, deliberate breathing routine and balance.

Extensive views all around the Rings with good paths and fantastic company! A 1 hour walk for anyone with or without poles.  Some of the tracks can be slippery in wet weather due to the chalk and there are a couple of slow inclines.  

At the end of the walk we will all meet up with the other sessions going ahead at the Rings and join together for a picnic. Please bring your lunch, something to drink and to sit on. 

You will have time to return to the car to collect these things. 

This is a chance to meet up with walkers from all over Dorset and find out about other walks and leaders that you might not have met. We’d love as many of you as possible to be there and join in the fun and if you've not been before this is a great opportunity to find out what the club is all about! 

Location Notes:

Meet in the main National Trust Car Park, the turning off the Blandford Road almost opposite the turning to Shapwick Village. Follow the lane up to the car park.
