Walk Description:

We set off from the Windy Bank Car Park and through the woods along the Grove Link. We will walk along the forest path before returning along the Forest Drive for a short distance and then back onto the paths, before reaching the Windy Bank carpark again. There is a mix of native and spruce trees and the opportunity to see lots of squirrels, possibly some deer and listen to the birdsong. This is a sociable walk, with the opportunity to meet and chat with fellow walkers. It is an enjoyable way to start your fitness journey in a relaxed and friendly environment. There is always the opportunity to join us on longer walks if you find yourself wanting more of a challenge. Please be aware that the forest paths can be muddy so be sure to wear appropriate footwear with good grip.

Location Notes:

Come into the Forest through Bedburn - come along the road into the forest and go round a corner then take the road on the right signposted Forest Drive . Come straight down and the bottom of the road the carpark is directly opposite
