Walk Description:

This beautiful walk takes you along the sea wall with lovely views of the Isle of Wight and Hurst Castle and through the nature reserve (4.5 miles).  We'll stop at the Gun Inn and sit in the garden for a light lunch and then come back along via a path, parts of which are tarmaced so you'll want your paws (3.5).  About 8 miles in total.

Please note this is definitely a fair weather walk, so may change if the weather is cold, wet and windy!!!

Please book by 2 August so that I can confirm numbers with the pub!

Location Notes:

Head for the Lymington Yacht Haven (not the sailing club!). You can park on Kings Saltern Road or Westfield Road. Then walk into the Yacht Haven, past the barrier and continue walking until you see a narrow footpath right opposite Jeremy Rogers (there's a sign post at high level which says Solent Way) and this is where we'll meet. PLEASE DO NOT WALK THROUGH THE YACHT HAVEN MARINA AS WE'VE BEEN ASKED NOT TO.
