Walk Description:

King's Passage enjoys some beautiful views across open forest and big sky scenes, from the height of the ridge from Deerleap and from the Fulliford lowland heath. The combination of deciduous forest, open heath, a watering-hole and a stream near the bridge at King’s Passage, means we often see and hear a variety of wildlife. Much of the terrain is on paths rather than tracks and there are gentle uphill and downhill sections on this walk.It can feel quite exposed on cold, windy days and the lowland area is prone to being rather muddy in one particular place, so come prepared.

Location Notes:

Forestry Commission Car Park opposite the Drift Inn.
