Walk Description:

A new walk for us as we follow the footpath along the ridgeline from Scraptoft, past the so called Monk's Grave, to the deserted medieval village of Ingarsby.

We will meet at the end of the tarmac Covert Lane by the field entrance and footpath. Parking will be along the end of Covert Lane - please remember that large farm vehicles need to pass by so please pull vehicles onto grassy areas as much as possible.

For those that would like a longer walk. Cars can be parked further up along Covert Lane and simply walk down the road to the meeting place.

We hope to go back to The Hub in Scraptoft for a coffee afterwards.

Location Notes:

Car parking, toilet facilities and refreshments are available at The White House, Scraptoft Lane, Scraptoft. Meet opposite in Edith Cole Park near the gate located at the top of Scraptoft Lane by the mini-roundabout.
