These WALX make every step count! Total Body walking™ is a unique mix of drills, strength exercises, the use of nordic walking poles and other innovative fitness walking kit to help target the upper body too. Delivered by our fully qualified Instructors who will plan WALX that work on all aspects of fitness and make the most of being Outdoors!

Learn how to WALK WELL, harnessing the power of good posture,  your core muscles and the perfect stride. Experience how PACE and HILLS can be empowering and how working on balance, flexibilityand strength can make walking twice as effective _ whatever you are aiming to achieve.

Try out some poles, try other ways to boost strength, help with weight loss and make walking WORK for you!

In short, come along and get afeel for how WALX can work your whole body with or without polesand help you prepare for the hills or just life in general

 Please bring  a small rucsac with your drink and any medication you may need

Car parking Fees apply in Forest Centre, Tree tops carpark, Old Pale, Whitefield carpark or become a member of Delamere Forest for an annal fee of £72.00 and  this covers carparking fees foe a year!

Location Notes:

Meet at Barnsbridge Carpark, off Ashton Road, Delamere Forest. Ashton Road runs from Mouldsworth to Hatchmere. The nearest sat nav reference is Fox Howl Education Centre WA6 6PA. Fox Howl Education Centre is at the Mouldsworth end of Ashton Road and the carpark is midway along Ashton Road. It has a blue notice board with Sandstone trail in white lettering. It is free but there are no loos here. The nearest loos are at Linmere Car park, by the Visitors Centre and you would need to allow an extra 10minutes to drive there and back. Alternatively we can incorporate a loo stop on our walking route so let me know if this is required.
