Walk Description:
This is a flat walk with several bird spotting opportunities. Towards the end of the walk we will have a refreshment break at College Lake Reservoir which has featured on BBC Countryfile as a haven for water birds. From College Lake it is an approximately 30 minute walk back to the station.

If you'd like to benefit from using Nordic walking poles, we advise you attend a Learn to Nordic WALX workshop. Walkers without poles or with trekking poles are very welcome.

Time: Meet outside Tring Station (trains leave from London Euston every 30 minutes) ready to start at 10.00 am.
This is a circular walk so we will return to Tring Station by approximately 3.00 pm
Refreshments Bring snacks/picnic which we can have en route with the additional option of visiting the cafe at College Lake which sells hot and cold refreshments .
Toilets - at College Lake
NB No toilets at Tring Station so do use those on the train before arrival.
