Walk Description:
Follow the Old Railway and turn off at Spetisbury Station to visit the Rings of the same name. On a clear day you can see Badbury Rings from here and far beyond to Blandford Camp. We return to the trailway and come down to cross Crawford bridge!
Ee then head off across the mead snd mark our way to Tarrant Crawford . We then retu via Keynston Mill and back to Marcia's
After the walk you can stay of refreshments at Marcias Cafe and Farm Shop who very kindly let us use their car park.
This is an easy walk but there steps down to the road and a short incline up to the Rings The terrain can be uneven in places.
Location Notes:
The turning into Clapcotts Farm is opposite Spetisbury Primary School. It is at the far end of the village if you are coming from Wimborne on the right hand side on A350. The turning is tucked awayso look for Marcias Market sign....There is large un-tarmacked parking area where we can park.
