Walk Description:

This is a flat route and a gentle walk compared to our beloved Saddleworth! 7.4 miles ending with a potential lunch stop at Jackson't Boat before getting the tram back to Manchester. Highlights include the towpaths of the historic Rochdale and Bridgewater canals, Longford Park, Turn Moss and the Mersey Valley green belt. More a day trip than a morning one but guaranteed to be a super day of walking.
