Walk Description:

This is a social walk specifically for WALX Coast and Country and WALX and More members, however, we do welcome everyone.

We meet in the car park of The Spur on the London Road.We make our way into Madehurst Woods which has a multitude of bridleways and footpaths. This walk has a few hills (not too taxing) as well as flat areas.

We are treated to some fantastic views which include fields, woods, and you can even see the sea from some areas. The paths are mainly bridleways, or well-developed public footpaths.

The terrain is easy underfoot but as with all walks, shoes/boots must have good grips.

This walk will be approximately 90 minutes.

You are welcome to join us in The Spur, who have kindly provided free parking, for a coffee or something light and refreshing.

Please park the far end of the carpark!

WALX Coast and Country have a full programme of walks and online classes you can access for as little as £22 per month (5 walks a month = £4.20. Twice a week works out at £2.75) or pay as you go.

You no longer need a gym membership – you can enjoy a full programme of walks, circuit classes, online aerobics as well as indoor and outdoor Yoga.

This is the safest way to exercise, in the fresh air or in your own home.
