Walk Description:

This is a mainly rural walk, we start along the canal tow path then the route widens out to meadowland and woodland with plenty of space.  Things to consider this route can be very muddy when wet so we then choose an alternative all weather option.  Roots, uneven ground.  There may be a slim chance of Cows in one of the fields but we avoid where possible.  If you are uncomfortable with cows then do let me know.  They are rarely there however they may be.  We can choose a route to avoid depending on where abouts they are.  Can also do this one in reverse.

This is a moderate walk as there is uneven ground and a hill.  We tend to go at a moderate pace mostly a forward going Gear 1 however there are options for Gear 2 or even Gear 3 for those who want an extra challenge.  We aim to adapt for different fitness levels and abilities.

Parking is around Sydney Gardens where there is some free of charge on street parking, also a pay car park at the Holburne Museum and I can also arrange some parking on the Bathwick estate should you find it difficult to find parking elsewhere.  Refreshments available afterwards at the Holburne Cafe.

We meet in Sydney Gardens at the back entrance of the Holburne Cafe gates just inside the park by the Ricky Gervais Afterlife/Netflix Bench What 3 Words - W3W pipes.violin.intent. Post Code BA2 6NT There are loos available in the park and also in the Holbourne Museum Cafe which is also a great place for refreshments afterwards
