Come and learn how to turn walking into a total body exercise with poles. Get more from walking in your own time or join our regular fitness walking classes. The beginners' Power of Poles workshop for up to 6 participants at a time. Poles are provided for the course.
Get more from walking in your own time or join our regular fitness walking classes. The session also includes a FREE walk of your choice to be taken after your course preferably as soon as possible to practice what you have learned. You will be given a voucher code to be used within 6 weeks.
Poles are provided for the course - poles are cleaned thoroughly between uses.
Once you've completed the Power of Poles, you will be entitled to WALX membership and will be entitled to the members' prices on the WALX store - ask for details.
We recommended that you DONT wear stiff hiking boots (for this session) as these restrict your walking with poles - walking shoes or trainers are preferred. Wear outdoor clothing and esnure you have suitable waterproofs if the forecast is for rain. We will only cancel if the weather makes lessons too difficult.

The session takes place at Marlborough Common and starts by the rugby club. Park along Frees Avenue or at the rugby club if space.
If you feel unwell between booking your class and joining us, we ask that you err on the side of caution and cancel your booking. You will be recredited to book another date or a refund can be issued.
Meet on common opposite the Marlborough Rugby Club. You can park at the rugby club or along the road by common.
