Walk Description:
This is a delightful and gentle scenic walk through Thorncombe Woods.
Suitable for all abilites with or without poles.
There is a wealth of wildlife – including resident Dartmoor ponies- and a varied range of mature trees and open scrubland from which, high up, there are magnificent views of the surrounding countryside with the Purbeck Hill’s in the distance. A walk not to be missed!
We will meet in car park, there is a charge of £1 per hour, to use the car park.
Throughout the walk we will be observing the social distancing as best as possible at all times.
Please note that there are no toilet facilities at this time.

Please follow signs to the Visitor Centre Parking where we will meet you. Sat Nav may stop short of this. Parking in DCC Car park pay and display £1 per hour needed. Use the What3Words app.
