Join our friendly and sociable group as we explore some of the beautiful paths which weave through the majestic trees.
Wytham Woods cover an area of 1000 acres and a a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and are one of the most researched pieces of woodland in the world, exceptionally rich in flora and fauna, with over 500 species of plants, a wealth of woodland habitats, and 800 species of butterflies and moths (www.wytham.ox.ac.uk)
Meet in the car park at the top of the private road leading to Wytham Woods from Wytham Village

Location Notes:
Access to the woodland is via a private road from the village of Wytham. The private road leading to the woods is the first right turn off the road which runs past the car park of The White Hart pub. The road has a wooden sign saying 'Private Road, No thoroughfare, Wytham Studio' Meet at the car park at the end of the private road (at the top of the hill). Nearest Postcode: OX2 8QQ
