Great for those who have joined the Distance Challenge Walk. This class is fast-paced, at times raising your heart rate and will improve your personal physical endurance. Typically this class will cover 4+ miles.A reasonable level of personal fitness is recommended.
If you want to step up a gear on your walks, you are a runner that wants to learn how to ascend and descend hills and master more technical terrain more effectively? Or perhaps you were a gym-goer and want to swap the mirrors for nature?
Please allow 75 minutes for this class.
It is essential to register and book early in advance.

Please use your own poles. Please do not book on for a WALX if you think you may have symptoms, or do have symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has symptoms.
This is for members with a Nordic Walking UK FREEDOM passport.
Pre-requisite: This is only for those with appropriate training at present.
Gear: Think light, shoes with a good grip, low weight and flexible. Same for the backpack, no more than 25ltr, low compression straps keeping it close to your body, built-in hydration pack or side pockets for easy access to water. Jacket - breathable, perhaps zipped air vents.
