Walk Description:
Come and celebrate my birthday with a walk in the beautiful Cranborne Chase AONB!
An all abilities walk.
This circular four mile walk leaves from the Brewery and heads up through the village of Cranborne before climbing up a hill on the Jubilee trailway. This area has long grass at this time of year.
From here a flat section then gently downhill with fantastic views all around. Another gentle climb into woodland which meanders downhill before the final wood and back across the fields to the Brewery.
On Friday's the Orchard Bay Bakery next door cook pizza so we can place our orders when we arrive back for drinks. The Brewery is a pub where all kinds of drinks are served. There are toilets as you enter the gate.
This is an outdoor event. It gets extremely busy therefore we will park just down the road.
Paws for sticks needed for road section in village and the path in and out of the field.
Well behaved dogs on leads welcomed.
Leave Cranborne on the B3078 and the turning is just out of the village after a bend.
Please bring a fold up chair so we can all sit together along with warm clothes for when the sun goes down.
Location Notes:
Please park in the right hand carpark as you enter from the lane. There is an Airius sign near this. The carpark is for PinPoint Veterinary Care.
