Walk Description:

Beautiful rural, circular walk taking in stunning views, across to Wales on a clear day, lovely clear air, out along the golf course through hobbit country. There is quite a steep hill on this walk but very grassy and easy underfoot. There is also an option to avoid the hill on this walk too should anybody want to take it a little easier. Unfortunately no guaranteed loos - We used to be able to use Pipley Cafe but not always open now post pandemic so best to try go before you come or else it may be behind a bush!! Other than that it would be the Hare and Hounds where we go for coffee afterwards. walk so it may be bushes, though we stop for coffee afterwards at the Hare and Hounds for refreshment afterwards and of course an opportunity to use the facilities. Terrain is partial Woods so slightly uneven ground, gates and kissing gates - one with a couple of steps. Perhaps sheep in field. Fairly flat walk with a gentle down hill and therefore an uphill, moderately steep for about 5/10 mins depending how many times we stop to admire the view???? Can be pretty windy and exposed on racecourse so may need hats to protect ears etc.

Pacey Gear 1 and options for Gear 2 and 3 for those who wish to challenge themselves a bit more.Parking can be tricky, during COVID parking more restricted. If no parking available in the spot we normally use then just along on the main road there is parking but just a tiny bit more of a walk to meet point.
