Walk Description:
From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.
Today`s Walk: Lower Inkpen towards Ham and Hungerford - 5.5 miles, approx. 2.5hrs led by Sally Hughes.
Old tracks, field paths and woodlands. A few nettles and long grass so long trousers may be a good idea. This walk is a moderate walk and is open to non-polers.
Location: Park at the Lower Green Triangle – park tightly up against all 3 sides of the triangle leaving enough room for tractors/buses etc. The triangle is 50yds uphill from the old Swan Inn if you get lost. Car share if you can.
Notes:Bring coffee/snack for after the walk – we can picnic on the green if its sunny. Alternately the Crown and Garter is a 5 min drive
