Walk Description:

We have many choices of walks from this car park , but this one takes us through beautiful areas of woodland and open countryside. The views are spectacular! 

We leave the carpark and set off down a farm track. Within minutes the views open before us and we walk along grassy paths with some mud in places but all very manageable at this time of year.

We come to the village of Turnworth and walk a short distance along the road, and come to a small church with a Hardy connection! From there we set off up a farm track which in a few places is steep for a short while. Absolutely worth the effort because it is beautiful. There is live stock on the farmland we cross , sheep, cattle and pigs. There is also a field with some horses but they are very calm and showed no  interest in me! 

Although I don't have favourite walks on the whole because they all have their strengths....This one is amazing .

Entrance to car park quite narrow. Further parking on opposite side of road in lay by .
