Walk Description:
A pleasant 6-mile countryside walk taking us north of South Wonston and walking up to the village of Wonston along bridleways running parallel to the disused railway line and past some lovely views and farmhouses, going to Sutton Scotney. The walk will take about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on the pace.
Once we reach Wonston village we return via a separate bridleway, back to the car park at the South Wonston Pavilion / recreation ground.
Facilities here include toilets and a coffee and cake van.
Location Notes:
South Wonston Pavillion is reached once you arrive at South Wonston via Downs Road, turn right into W Hill Road South and then drive along into the Pavillion car park.
