Walk Description:

Thank Goodness for Yoga ! Join Jackie Holden for this hour long Yoga session incorporating different ASANA poses and finishing with a calming relaxation session.  

Jackie is one of our regular walkers and has been a YOGA instructor for over 25 years.

Yoga is an ancient form of exercise, originating in India about 5,000 years ago, that focuses on strength, flexibility, and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing.

The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.

Yoga compliments Nordic Walking perfectly in providing a strong core and balance concept.  

Please bring:

·        a yoga mat (if you have one - otherwise carpeted floor is fine)

·        Comfortable clothes - eg leggings / t-shirt etc

·        Water

·        Blanket - for the relaxation
