Walk Description:

Note 9.30am start time (finish 11am to allow cafe break).  The (not so) Early Bird Workout Walk (with Susan) & the Saturday Strider (with Sue) will both follow at 11.30 for this week only.

Power of the Poles 2 - Refresh & improve your Nordic Walking is suitable for

1 - Those who have completed the Power of the Poles 1 Introductory course with strapless poles , are still new to Nordic Walking & want to try strapped poles as well as receive more tuition.

2 - new, regular or returning Nordic Walkers of any level of fitness who want to refresh and enhance their Nordic Walking and would appreciate some more formal instruction & learn about latest thinking on walking well.

The session involves plenty of practice, fault correction and personal attention. You'll leave with an understanding of how to use the poles for progression, fitness & results tailored to you.

Run by NWUK Instructor Susan Spain.

The session uses strapped Nordic Walking Poles or strapless Total Body Walking Walx Poles which are provided for those who don't have their own  poles (your choice). You need to already have completed a NWUK/WALX Learn to Nordic Walk or Power of the Poles 1 session to participate. (If you are completely new to Nordic Walking you need to book a Power of the Poles 1 Introductory session first).

All equipment provided if you don't have your own poles
