Walk Description:

We will walk at a relaxed pace around part of Whitesheet/Holt heath followed by some standing yoga

poses in a shady woodland glade.

The poses are strengthening for the legs and excellent for balance.

The session has some yogic breathwork and a short relaxation.

This is for all abilities and you can use your poles for the yoga poses (asanas) to aid balance.

This session is to give a flavour of yoga and it does not matter if you have never done anything like this

before!

The entrance to the carpark is at the top of the hill on a bend turning right coming from Wimborne

direction.

The short track into the carpark is bumpy. This area is owned by the NT but parking is

free. No toilets. Nearest at Stewarts Garden centre five mins up the road in the direction of Holt.

Bring water and layers to wear when we are standing still.

There are cows on the site for part of the year. Popular with dog walkers.

An alternative route to Canford Bottom roundabout can be given rather than trying to turn right across

A31. Ask for details on the day or I will guide you back out.

Location Notes:

From Whitemoor head up the hill past Pilmore Growers then sharp right along a small bumpy lane to a large carpark under the trees at White Sheet. No facilities but Stewarts garden centre Broomhill in God's blessing lane is 5 mins away.
